How Do YOU Say Happy?

Get ready for change. We move now into the oceanic time… Venus has entered Cancer, Mars soon enters Scorpio, and not long from now, Saturn joins Mars there, too. We leave behind our surface attentions to go deep, deep, deep. It will be great fun, and tremendous social change. The Mysteries of life will have the attention of the planet now. “Lions at Play” is the theme of my planetary post for this coming month. Time to enjoy letting your “inner roar” (or maybe your “inner yawn”) out.

Looking for a video to express this visually, I came upon a great scene of a lion family playing together at Adrian Gardiner’s Shamwari Game Reserve:

This is the Time – Make Hay While the Sun Shines.

This is a “heady” time of year, folks. We’ve just moved past the Solstice, Venus is solidly in Gemini for another month and we are at the physical peak of the year.

It’s time to make hay while the sun shines.

Now, this doesn’t mean “no fun”. Au contraire, folks, fun right now is using your physical body! Get active. Put your body through its paces. See what it’s made of. Take this time, while your body is really physically relishing being itself, and be it!

That’s right, be it! Be your body, right now. Whatever that means to you. Go swimming, join an exercise class, do yoga, how about chi gong?

Go paint a house, or clean out the basement or something else physical that you’re really going to wish was already done, come autumn.

Get together with loved ones — friends, family — get them moving too. Put money in your physical body’s bank right now. Let your body accumulate some serious compound interest right now in the height of the sun’s rays of the year, when your body is just designed to thresh, and gather, and harvest, and eat, and be active and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Don’t wait till August, don’t wait till fall to do those things that you want to get done. This is the time, right now, this very moment, to get yourself moving. Kick yourself into gear, if you must, and just get it done! Everything in your life is going to thank you for it.

Come August, as Venus moves into Cancer, we’re going to want to be more the “home bodies”. We’ll start thinking about taking it easy, taking a break — those “dog days of summer” are going to come up, and we’re going to want to partake of that harvest that we’re setting up for ourselves right now.

Right now while Venus is in Gemini and we’re inspired to flit out from the nest towards new and interesting horizons, take advantage of that intense physical, expanding energy and get yourself moving in the directions you want to go.

Folks, the planets are influences, but you’re the ones in charge of your own lives. Use those influences to your best advantages. Know that you are the ones in charge, and get your hands on those reins, on the wheel of your ship, or use whatever analogies you like best.

We’re moving fast, very fast this summer. Be your own best friend, be your own best navigator, and get yourself in a trajectory of your liking, so that when August comes around, and you’re ready to just take it easy, you’re already precisely where you’d most like to be.

Autumn…(and yes, the winter holidays!) will be upon us before we know it. Where do you see yourself this fall? Where do you plan to spend Thanksgiving? Who is important to you during the holidays? Who do you want to be sure will be there then?

Whatever will be important to you then, now is the time to shore it up and make it happen. Right now you’ve got the juice, the focus, the intensity and the clarity available to you to do it all the way you want it done.

Don’t wait. Do it now. That sun is shining down. Get it done. You will be so very glad you did.

Friday, April 20th, 2012. Today is the last day of the current lunar cycle. There are differing opinions on what this day means. For some, it’s thought of as a day of stillness. The seed rests underground.

But is it really resting? Above the ground, we see no sign of life — it’s a waiting time. A quiet time. The seed cannot be hurried.

Still…under the ground, see what the seed is doing. It’s already growing, building itself, forming life inside itself. Not with effort — there’s no effort on the part of a seed. It simply is. The pure powerful life-force of the Universe surges through it, urging it to grow and create. A gathering of substance that will, soon, show above the soil.

In a bursting forth of life and joy, suddenly a tiny green plant will be. Where before there was only rich soil to be seen.

Magic.

Sunday, April 15th, 2012. Neptune has settled into it’s* new home in Pisces. The moon moves into the “void”, preparing to enter Pisces. The waters of the Universe wash quietly through everything… back and forth like the tidal waves of the ocean. In this Universal state of oneness and awareness, Aries, fire element, bold and brazen initiator, casts it’s own effect into the mix.

Dreams become reality…in an instant. The ocean of Pisces immerses all things in dreamland – nothing feels more important to Pisces than that land of dreams. All things become possible. To Aries nothing is more important than making that dream a reality – right now. Unstoppable Aries froths at the bit to move into action.
